To the President of the United States of AmericaBarak Obama
Dear Mr. President,
You were chosen by the people of the United States of America in the difficult for your country moment. Over is the time when the government of the USA could form the world politics at its discretion, appoint the governments of the sovereign countries and turn off the leaders who have the independent policy, “punish” with the help of the weapon those governments and people who persistently defend their right on their own way of development.
Not only the people of the world do not accept such policy any more, but the people of the USA are tired of it, too. The evidence of it is, among other things, the fact that exactly You have been chosen to become a President. The Americans expect of you changes, including changes in the foreign policy. But there are people in the United States, who have fear of changes and who want the United States to stay the international policeman, who want to make the people of the world to be afraid of America but not to respect it as an equal partner. These people are ready to do everything in order not to allow changes. To such people belong the leaders of the anti-Cuban emigrant organizations that are founded on the territory of the United States of America and that have been for several years organizing terrorist attacks against Cuba and against the progressive politicians of the other countries of America. The last evidence that these people are afraid of changes is the attempt on the life of the Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez that was organized by Luis Posada Carilles, one of the leaders of the anti-Cuban emigration and the world famous terrorist who has blood of the hundreds of innocent people on his conscience. There is no doubt that this is a provocation in order to make impossible any changes in the foreign policy of the USA. But it’s also an exam for the new administration of the USA - whether it will act according to the norms of the international right or it will go on defending this international terrorist from the legitimate punishment.
We demand the extradition of the international terrorist Luis Posada Carriles.
We demand the liberation of Rene Gonzalez Sehwerert, Ramon Labanino Salazar, Gerardo Hernandez Nordelo, Fernando Gonzalez Llort, Antonio Guerrero Rodriguez – Cuban Heroes who struggled against the international terrorism.
It would be a step of the good will on the part of the government of the United States which would show that the changes in his policy are really possible.

Шановний пане президенте!
Вас вибрав народ Сполучених Штатів президентом в складний для вашої країни момент, Минув той час, коли уряд США міг на свій розсуд формувати світову політику, призначати уряди суверенним країнам і скидати тих лідерів, які проводили незалежну політику, «карати» силою зброї ті уряди і народи, які проявляли наполегливість у відстоюванні своєї точки зору на власний розвиток.
Такої політики не тільки більше не приймають народи світу, така політика набридла вже й народу Сполучених Штатів, свідченням чого є, крім усього іншого, й те, що саме Ви обрані президентом. Від Вас американці чекають змін, в тому числі і в зовнішній політиці.
Але є в Сполучених Штатах Америки люди, які бояться змін, які бажають, щоб Сполучені Штати й надалі залишалися світовим жандармом, щоб Америки боялися народи світу, а не поважали її як рівноправного партнера. Ці люди ладні зробити все, щоб змін не допустити. До таких людей належать керівники антикубинських емігрантських організацій, які базуються на території Сполучених Штатів Америки і вже десятки років поспіль організовують терористичні атаки проти Куби і проти прогресивних політичних діячів інших країн Америки. Останнє свідчення тому, що ці люди бояться змін — спроба замаху на життя президента Венесуели Уго Чавеса, яку організовував один із лідерів антикубинської еміграції, всесвітньо відомий терорист Луїс Посада Карілес, на совісті якого кров сотень невинних людей. Безперечно, це - явна провокація, яка спрямована на те, щоб зробити неможливими будь-які зміни в зовнішній політиці Сполучених Штатів. В той же час це — екзамен для нової адміністрації США: чи буде діяти вона згідно нормам міжнародного права, чи буде і надалі захищати цього міжнародного терориста від законної кари.
Ми вимагаємо екстрадиції міжнародного терориста Луїса Посади Карілеса.
Ми вимагаємо звільнити Герардо Гонсалеса Нордело, Рене Гонсалеса Сехверерта, Фернандо Гонсалеса Льорта, Антоніо Герреро Родрігеса і Рамона Лабаньіно Саласара — кубинських патріотів, які боролися проти міжнародного тероризму.
Це було би кроком доброї волі з боку уряду Cполучених Штатів, який би продемонстрував, що зміни в його політиці дійсно можливі.
